It seems like after a lot of guesswork's, the leading lady of Farah Khan's upcoming directorial movie has been finalized. According to sources, it's the Chennai Express heroine Deepika Padukone, who has finally bagged the coveted role to romance with Shah Rukh Khan in Happy New Year.

Earlier Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Ankita Lokhande was said to be considered, also Katrina Kaif was apparently in the pipeline, but looks like the leggy beauty has been considered as the final choice.

Deepika shares a special bonding with Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, as they are the ones who gave a big break to Dippy with Om Shanti Om (2007). 'Happy New Year', directed by Farah Khan and starring Shah Rukh Khan in it, is slated to go on floors by September 2014.

Well, seems like with Farah Khan's second outing, the trio team of her debut venture will yet again hit scores at the box-office.
