Patients 40 and older getting laser eye surgery will need magnification glasses due to the natural aging of the eyes. At the TLC Eye Care Centers in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C., patients may also undergo monovision LASIK. With monovision, the dominant eye is adjusted for distance, and the non-dominant eye is left a little short-sighted.
