“THE INSIDER”

A dramatic montage reflecting the plight of the prisoner through international literature.

Devised and performed by Alan Clarke on Tuesday 23rd at the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences as part of the International Conference organised by the Cred-Ability project assisted by Justus Galinis and Ruta Kumpyte, drama students at LUES

The performance was dedicated to Mike Maloney, the artistic director of The Prison Arts
Foundation of Northern Ireland, who tragically died a few days earlier

Combining pieces from international literature and power-point images by well-known artists The Insider covers different stages of a prisoner’s life, reflecting the emotional state of those unfortunate enough to spend time in jail.
