London Evening Standard reporter Simon Johnson says Gareth Bale has agreed to sign a new Tottenham contract - but is almost certain to leave the club next summer. Johnson, speaking to Mike Graham on Extra Time, said: "Bale is committed to staying and will sign that new deal. Unfortunately for Tottenham fans, it is very much a compromise. It is only going to be for one more year because Tottenham are resigned to losing him next year."
