Vibert Noble was born in Guyana (when it was British Guiana) and has lived in the UK since he was a child. He considers himself a relative novice chaser of total solar eclipses and has travelled in order to experience them to Indonesia, the Faroe Islands, Antarctica, Mexico, the United States and Cornwall.
