Ottaviano Blitch - Actor, singer, composer, director, dancer or musician? Far from wanting to fit into a specific label at all costs, this authentic and versatile artist likes to call himself “an actor who dances and a singer who acts." He’s the director of the video of his own recent single called: “Runnin’away”, which is included in the short movie titled: “Deranged”, officially selected as a “Best short film corner” at the 65° Festival de Cannes. Blitch took part in several international movies in leading and co-leading roles (scenes and movie files are available on his “Youtube” and “Imdb.com” channels). Blitch star in Federico Zampaglione’s drama in English "Shadow" in the role of the antagonist (Fred), a bloodthirsty murderer who unscrupulously and irrevocably changes the fate of the film. He stars in the latest film by Giovanni Veronesi: “Italians”, in the role of a troublemaking Briton. With the short feature entitled LIVER, he won 6 awards: Best actor and Best film star. It also won a mention and a special screening at Noir in Festival in Courmayeur. He recently stars (July 2014) in the latest shortfilm called “A rose reborn”, directed by the genius of Park Chan_Wook (Old boy). The photographer favoured by Fellini and Claudia Cardinale, Fiorenzo Niccoli, immortalized him in black and white in his “Timeless Portraits”, capturing a huge variety of nuances, ranging from the most romantic lightness to deep introspection. In 2008 he has introduced to the panorama of Italian radio schedules a new way of communicating: bringing the "Cinema in Radio" with the radio show titled: Virgin Motel. His singer parallel career starts in the nineties, when he was playing, performing and dancing in clubs his own music, a combination of British techno-clash and rock elements. Blitch has recently finished recording his solo album titled "BIGLIPS" involving the greatest rock drummer of all time, New Yorker, Cindy Blackman Santana, Lenny Kravitz’s drummer.
