I'm a Korean pop singer and occasional actor. I was a member of the large boy band Super Junior and part of its subgroup, Super Junior-M. I have seen as one of the four lead dancers of Super Junior and is also one of the first four Korean artists to appear on Chinese postage stamps.
I have an older brother, Lee Donghwa. Under the support of my father, who had a wish to become a singer, I successful signed a contract with SM Entertainment soon after I won first place on the 3rd SM Youth Best Selection Best Outward Appearance in 2001. I was then recruited into a five-member boy band, Smile, along with future bandmate Leeteuk by his talent agency before this idea was dropped.
