Blitz Kids are back! They return with a brand new mini-album that's set to rock the world and a tour support slot that'll raucously prove to crowds up and down the country why British rock is at the top of its game.
The band, touted by Kerrang! as “one glorious cacophony” head out in support of Aussie pop-punkers Tonight Alive in October and will make available as a free download the lead track ‘Never Die’ (for a limited period only) from their forthcoming mini album of the same name.
Blitz Kids have been honing their sound and with an abundance of material from recent sessions have decided to release 'Never Die' as a mini album this year and hold off the eagerly awaited sophomore album to keep us all drooling. With the full-length being recorded and produced by the one and only John Feldmann (The Used, Black Veil Brides, Story of the Year, All Time Low) the band's decision to jet off to LA out rightly declares their music is worth its weight.
If Blitz Kids are new to you, here's your chance to catch up. They hail from small towns but make big sounds and are “a schizophrenic force to be reckoned with” if you ask for Rock Sound's opinion. The band have provided main support for D.R.U.G.S, opened a tour of the UK and Europe with Mayday Parade, had Aled Phillips from ‘Kids in Glass Houses’ perform guest vocals on their single ‘Story’ and to top it all off, they were also nominated as ‘Best British Newcomers’ at 2011’s Kerrang! Awards!
