Guinness Book of World Records Holder Howard Berg Speaks with Scott Schilling

Scott sits down with friend Howard “Speedy” Berg who has been recognized for setting the world record for speed reading. He is listed in the 1990 Guinness Book of World Records for reading more than 25,000 words a minute and writing more than 100 words a minute.

Growing up in the projects of Brooklyn is the same as the movie, West Side Story, and that too without music and dance. We had gangsters in our town similar to Bernardo. Like most of the children, I also wanted to play but it was not safe. The only place which was safe in my neighbourhood was the library. Unknowingly, my frequent visits to the library made me what I am today- a Knowledge Mastery Strategist.

For the past 35 years, I have been teaching people how to increase their reading speed along with comprehension, but more importantly how to develop a total learning solution in their life.
I help professionals, associations, companies, colleges, and universities, students and people of all walks of life and ages maximize their ability to learn faster, comprehend better, and retain more in their information-rich world.
I can increase the learning rate of an average individual by 100% in four hours resulting in better decisions, fewer costly mistakes, and more time to devote to the things that matter to them.
