Umeed TV was established in 18th July 2010. Test transmission started on 18th October 2010 and regular transmission began on 27th October, 2010. Umeed is the first South Punjab Urdu language channel to provide content comparable with world-class television broadcasters and it is the fastest growing TV Channel in South Punjab. Umeed TV's ratings exceed all Local delivered TV channels in the market and Umeed has the widest distribution on cable systems.
