As the current Vice-President of the Nigerian Association of Indigenous Petroleum Explorers and Productions (NAIPEC), Tunde Folawiyo also serves as Group Managing Director & CEO of the Yinka Folawiyo Group of Companies, a dynamic conglomerate with global business interests in various key industries such as oil and gas, power, real estate and agriculture.

In addition to a host of accomplishments in business and with regards to the further development of Nigeria’s economy, Tunde Folawiyo was declared an Honourary citizen of the city of Houston, as well as the first Honourary Consul of Barbados -- an integral role in strengthening relations between Barbados and Africa.

Tunde Folawiyo cultivates an ongoing commitment to education and the fostering of future African leaders, through his role as a director of the African Leadership Academy. Awarded the 2010 African Business Leadership Award, Tunde Folawiyo continues to make great strides in the improvement of business, education and charity throughout Africa. His work as a board member of MTN Nigeria, and his ongoing roles at other thriving organisations have proved immeasurably significant in the advancement of various sectors within Africa.
