The Wknd is an Internet-based music and multimedia platform, leading the way to the forefront of the independent music scene in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Its production and editorial teams constantly scouts for new, unique and unsigned artists from the region.
Established in 2008, The Wknd produces a wide variety of live video and audio recordings such as The Wknd Sessions, Singgah Sekejap, and interviews with touring international acts.
The Wknd is also actively called upon to curate acts for music festivals, showcases and concerts, and operates The Wknd Store, an ecommerce platform where musicians can release and sell their music.
