The Student Support Centre Encourages Parents to Stop Problems Relating to Learning Before They Start

Children can feel self-conscious if they find themselves struggling to keep up with their peers at school. Some will try to hide their struggles from their parents and that can cause a cycle of falling behind, feeling even worse and hiding things as much as possible. Once the child’s struggles are noticed, normally by an alert class teacher, it can be both expensive and difficult to help them catch up with their classmates if they have fallen some way behind.

The Student Support Centre believes that that encouraging children to learn and seek help at a young age can facilitate on-going success and prevent future difficulties. One thing that parents can do is stay up-to-date on their child’s progress by maintaining contact with teachers. If a child needs extra help or parents just want to get a head start on preventing future problems, The Student Support Centre offers its ‘simply’ programmes, providing additional and convenient instruction in the areas of maths, English, and reading.
