With over 30 years’ experience in commercial, professional and legal practice, Samuel Okoronkwo is a barrister and Head of Chambers at Mercantile Barristers.
Okoronkwo studied Quantity Surveying at the University of Reading, after which he practiced as a professional quantity surveyor. Okoronkwo then gained a Master’s Degree in Property Development & Project Management and held senior roles in the delivery of large complex projects. Having achieved a postgraduate diploma in Law from the London College of Law, Okoronkwo worked as an FA-registered lawyer in the sports industry.
Samuel Okoronkwo’s legal practice includes sports law; construction and engineering law; adjudication; arbitration, property, planning; estates and trust law; and company law and commercial litigation.
Written and oral advocacy in litigation are areas of expertise for Okoronkwo, particularly where complex technical and/or legal issues are involved, he is able to distil and present the central issues in a tactful yet forceful manner.
