00:00I saw people getting abducted.
00:02I'm an actual immigrant.
00:04I became a U.S. citizen in this building.
00:06I also volunteered inside this building.
00:09One of the worst that I saw was, this was probably October.
00:13It was a man who was there with his wife and two young kids.
00:19They took the husband away, and the mom just started screaming, crying.
00:24And all I could think about was the kids.
00:27Like, you know, she was his, like, of course.
00:30I don't speak Spanish, so we got two other volunteers, and we ran up.
00:33I picked up the baby. She had a very young child.
00:36And then the person who spoke Spanish talked to the mom.
00:40And the other thing that we did was we made sure that they actually,
00:44like, they were going to take the subway home.
00:46And I said, we can't let, like, the least we can do is pay for them to take a taxi home.
00:51Was it in New York?
00:52It happened right here. It happened right here.
00:54When you go inside this building, even the signs are different.
00:58They call us aliens, like the official signs in there.
01:02I got dressed up when I became a citizen.
01:04I was so happy.
01:05And people still bring their kids, and it's scary.
01:08They yelled at us one time because we were giving books to the kids.
01:12They told us we weren't allowed to do that.
01:14you weren't allowed to do that.
