This is a fairly short review since its only covering a bit of content about Izuku's training and getting threw the entrance exam. I do hope you all enjoy the review.
00:00Welcome back everyone. Today should be a relatively short review, but we'll see where things go.

00:13Now, let's begin. We come back to Izuku being so happy, and at the same time can't believe the idol of the nation, All Might, has told him that he can be a hero.
00:24And I also have to ask, why did Horikoshi draw him with such a long neck? He looks like a giraffe.
00:40All Might then adds that he thinks Izuku is the one that is worthy enough to pass down his power to.
00:47Of course, this confuses him, so he further explains that he never talks about his quirk because he was not born with it, and it was passed down to him by his master, and so on and so forth.
01:03And the name of this power is One For All.
01:06So after he explains everything, he asks Izuku if he wants to gain this power, and all the responsibilities that will come with it.
01:14And of course, he accepts.
01:16We then cut to him cleaning up trash on the beach.
01:20He of course asks why he is doing this, and All Might tells him it's because his body can't handle One For All yet, so he will put him on a training regimen.
01:29Along with it, he will be doing community service, cleaning up the trash on the beach, showing that heroism isn't just all the flashy stuff.
01:38We see a montage of his training with months passing, until he reaches his breaking point because he is overworking himself.
01:47All Might of course chastises him for this, but Izuku explains that he has been training more than is required because he doesn't have a quirk and has to work even harder than everyone else.
01:58Loving his energy, he modifies the plan as we cut to the exam day, with a triumphant Izuku yelling on the final pile of cleaned up garbage, proud that he was even able to do more than what was needed.
02:11With us getting a shot of Izuku's new toned body from all of his training.
02:16And he still feels like he cheated since he got so much help from All Might, plus One For All.
02:22He then tells him to eat a strand of his hair because for the power to pass on, the receiver has to ingest the giver's DNA.
02:29We cut to Izuku getting to the entrance exams, and he almost falls on his face, but Uraraka catches him with her quirk and continues inside.
02:39With Izuku being happy he'd talk to a girl, even though he didn't.
02:44Think small, reasonable goals for yourself, one day at a time.
02:49Present Mike, a teacher and hero from the school, explains the rules, but is interrupted by a new character, Ida,
02:56who points out to him not mentioning a fourth robot on the sheet he gave them.
03:02He then explains that the fourth robot is not worth any points, and is just an obstacle that they have to stay away from.
03:11Izuku then gets to the testing site, with Uraraka and Ida being in his testing group.
03:15But suddenly, the start alarm goes off, and everybody dashes into the fake city.
03:20A few minutes in, Izuku is getting overwhelmed by all the action that's going on, with him still not having a single point until the obstacle villain arrives.
03:31Izuku was of course going to run away from it until he sees Uraraka trapped under some rubble,
03:37so he goes back and finally awakens his power, destroying the robot in one hit.
03:42After doing that, he realizes that his arm and both his legs are broken, and that he is plummeting back down towards the ground.
03:51He prepares to break his other arm to cushion his fall when Uraraka hits him in midair, using her quark to save him.
03:59And he tries to quickly get at least one point, but the time is called.
04:03As he is wallowing in despair, the hero recovery girl comes to heal his limbs, as we cut to a week later.
04:10A letter from UA gets delivered with a hologram player inside of it.
04:15All Might appears, announcing he will be working at UA, and that Izuku didn't get any regular points, but there is a catch.
04:23He shows Uraraka came to present Mike after the test, wanting to share her points with Izuku, because he saved her, and he did not get any,
04:32but Mike lets her know that she doesn't have to worry, because they both passed.
04:37There was a secret point system where they also graded everyone on how they saved others, not just the robots they destroyed.
04:45So because of his great heroism, he gained enough to get in, starting his heroic journey.
04:52Now, let's get on to the anime adaptation.
04:54I really liked his training montage in the anime, along with the music that played alongside it.
05:00With his triumphant moment of him screaming on top of the final trash pile being fantastic.
05:06Showing how much hard work he went through the past few months.
05:11Oh my, oh my, goodness!
05:14Then they changed the exam display to be more accurate with how the robots actually looked,
05:21since they probably did not want to take a chance on Nintendo getting them,
05:26since in the manga they show a blacked out image that is obviously Mario.
05:31And I like the 8-bit animation they used for the demonstration.
05:35I also really like the effect they used for One For All's activation,
05:40with the red lightning spreading out through his nerves and body.
05:44And lastly, we get a short anime-only scene of Izuku coming out of his room,
05:49telling his mom he got in, with her being extremely happy for him.
05:53We have a great Chapter 2 colored cover page of All Might and Izuku.
05:58We get a character profile on Izuku, telling us he's 5'4",
06:02and the creator purposefully draws him plain-looking,
06:05even though that may be bad for a protagonist.
06:09Bakugou's character file says he is 5'6",
06:12and he was originally going to be a genius that was an unintentional bully,
06:17but switched to his current self, liking the more gifted punk approach.
06:22Last is Uraraka, 5'1", with her file being that
06:27she needed to be more outgoing to drive her and Izuku's friendship,
06:32since he himself is so nervous around her.
06:36With us getting some info saying that Mount Lady was supposed to be the main heroine at first,
06:41but he couldn't see as much potential in her powers,
06:45so he eventually created her.
06:47Let us continue with Uraraka, talking about her voice actors.
06:50Her Japanese voice actor is Ayane Sakura,
06:54who also voices, I think, Aira from Don to Don,
06:59and Solution Epsilon from Overlord.
07:02Her English voice actor is Lucy Christian,
07:05who has also voiced Nami from One Piece,
07:07and Medusa from Soul Eater.
07:09Uraraka seems to be a nice girl,
07:12with the example of her helping Izuku twice,
07:15and the fact that she wanted to repay him for saving her.
07:18That may have put her own spot in UA, in jeopardy.
07:22Her ability seems to be making things float,
07:24so decently powerful,
07:26showing us that she raised the robots in the air
07:29and drops them from a high height,
07:31and can be used to save people like we saw with Izuku.
07:34Overall, a good character so far.
07:37Next is Iida, who is voiced by Keito Ishikawa,
07:42who also voices Genos from One Punch Man,
07:45Saleh from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure,
07:48and Jin from Don to Don.
07:50His English voice actor is J. Michael Tatum,
07:53who has also voiced Scar from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood,
07:57Zarbon from Dragon Ball Z Kai,
07:59and Enel from One Piece.
08:01We don't get a whole lot from Iida in this part of the story,
08:05just that he is a strict guy,
08:07and his quirk relates to the exhausts on his legs.
08:10Lastly is Present Mike,
08:12who is voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino,
08:16who also voices Ox from Soul Eater,
08:20Kimberly from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood,
08:23and Genthrou from Hunter x Hunter,
08:25and the English voice actor being Dave Trosco.
08:28All we know is that he is a teacher at UA,
08:32and in the future,
08:33he will be the announcer for all the explanations in the story.
08:37Bakugou did not do much in this section.
08:40We find out he stopped bullying Izuku after the villain incident,
08:45and now he is kind of known for what happened to him,
08:48which probably took his ego down a peg,
08:51where he did not feel confident in bullying Izuku anymore.
08:55Now with All Might,
08:56we find out even more about him.
08:58The big thing, of course,
09:00is that his quirk was passed down to him by his master,
09:03making him the 8th holder,
09:05and now Izuku, the 9th.
09:07He also shows us that he is not just a brute of a hero,
09:11he made a training plan for Izuku over 10 months,
09:15and emphasized that defeating villains is not everything a hero should do.
09:19They should also help out the community,
09:21like clearing the trash off the beach.
09:24And then we find out he will be teaching at UA,
09:27so he will be alongside Izuku at school.
09:31Then finally getting on to Izuku.
09:34He got a major glow up here,
09:36with his 10 months of training looking like an above average to maybe peak teen physique.
09:41And I do like that even with the number one's quirk being passed down to him,
09:46he still feels like he has to work harder and feels like he is cheating.
09:51It shows how much he appreciates the opportunity All Might has given him,
09:55and that he won't just be satisfied with being gifted the quirk.
09:59He will strive to become a great hero in all aspects, pushing himself to his limits.
10:05Which is shown in how much he mutters to himself and thinks.
10:09Showing how deeply he thinks about everything, and planning things out in detail.
10:15Now, talking about One For All itself,
10:18even with the 10 months of training, like All Might said,
10:21he was lucky his limbs did not get blown off.
10:24But what happened to them is only one or two steps below that,
10:28with breaking all the bones in those limbs.
10:30I would say with one hit from him,
10:32he could destroy a decent amount of a building,
10:35but he would be useless afterwards.
10:37Which will probably be his next hurdle to strive for.
10:41So, finally finishing up with these chapters,
