00:06This is what God showed to Jesus Christ

00:11so that he could tell his servants what must happen soon.

00:16Christ then sent his angel with a message to his servant John

00:20and John told everything that he had seen

00:24about God's message and about what Jesus Christ had said and done.

00:30God will bless everyone who reads this prophecy to others

00:34and he will bless everyone who hears and obeys it.

00:40The time is almost here.

00:46From John to the seven churches in Asia

00:49I pray that you will be blessed with kindness and peace from God

00:54who is and was and is coming.

00:57May you receive kindness and peace from the seven spirits

01:01before the throne of God.

01:03May kindness and peace be yours from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness.

01:08Jesus was the first to conquer death

01:11and he is the ruler of all earthly kings.

01:15Christ loves us

01:16and by his blood he set us free from our sins.

01:20He lets us rule as kings

01:23and serve God his father as priests.

01:26To him be glory and power forever and ever.

01:30Amen.

01:31Look!

01:33He is coming with the clouds.

01:35Everyone will see him

01:36even the ones who stuck a sword through him.

01:41All people on earth will weep because of him.

01:44Yes, it will happen.

01:47Amen.

01:48The Lord God says

01:51I am Alpha and Omega

01:54the one who is and was and is coming.

01:58I am God all-powerful.

02:02I am John

02:04a follower together with all of you.

02:07We all suffer because Jesus is our king

02:10but he gives us the strength to endure.

02:13I was sent to Patmos Island

02:16because I had preached God's message

02:19and had told about Jesus.

02:21On the Lord's day

02:22the spirit took control of me

02:24and behind me I heard a loud voice

02:27that sounded like a trumpet.

02:29When I turned to see who was speaking to me

02:31I saw seven gold lampstands.

02:35There with the lampstands

02:37was someone who seemed to be the son of man.

02:40He was wearing a robe

02:42that reached down to his feet

02:44and a gold cloth was wrapped around his chest.

02:48His head and his hair were white as wool or snow

02:51and his eyes looked like flames of fire.

02:55His feet were glowing like bronze

02:57being heated in a furnace

02:58and his voice sounded like the roar of a waterfall.

03:03He held seven stars in his right hand

03:06and a sharp double-edged sword

03:08was coming from his mouth.

03:10His face was shining as bright as the sun at noon.

03:15When I saw him

03:16I fell at his feet like a dead person

03:19but he put his right hand on me and said

03:22Don't be afraid.

03:25I am the first, the last, and the living one.

03:29I died

03:30but now I am alive forevermore

03:32and I have the keys to death

03:35and the world of the dead.

03:38Write what you have seen

03:39and what is

03:40and what will happen after these things.

03:44I will explain the mystery of the seven stars

03:47that you saw at my right side

03:49and the seven gold lampstands.

03:53The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches

03:56and the lampstands are the seven churches.
