A tale of a young girl's close encounter with the galaxy's most wanted extraterrestrial. Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a small ugly "dog," whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Through her love, faith and unwavering belief in ohana, the Hawaiian concept of family, Lilo helps unlock Stitch's heart and gives him the ability to care for someone else. Life gets complicated for little Lilo (Dakota Fanning) after Stitch (Chris Sanders) -- the extraterrestrial pet created by bumbling alien scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba (David Ogden Stiers) -- begins to malfunction. As Stitch's condition worsens, Lilo struggles to choreograph an original hula dance for an upcoming competition at her school. When she realizes something is terribly wrong, Lilo and Jookiba scramble to build an advanced device capable of saving Stitch from certain death. It's been several years since Stitch (Chris Sanders), the result of eccentric Dr. Jookiba's (David Ogden Stiers) "Experiment 626," landed on Earth and befriended a girl, Lilo (Daveigh Chase). Now Stitch, Lilo and the doctor live in Hawaii with Lilo's sister, Nani (Tia Carrere). But their lives are turned upside down by the arrival of Capt. Gantu (Kevin Michael Richardson), who kidnaps Jookiba to find out the location of his other 625 experiments. It's up to Lilo and Stitch to save Jookiba. In this animation, the villainous Dr. von Hamstervial (Jeff Bennett) breaks out of jail and immediately begins work on a devious new creation: "Leroy," who looks just like kindly alien Stitch and is sent to Earth to tear apart everything in his path. To defeat the mad doctor and his crazed experiment, young Lilo (Daveigh Chase) must reunite with Stitch and her other extraterrestrial pals; unfortunately, the only thing that may be able to stop Leroy is a performance from Elvis himself.
