Pathologist Dr. Warren Chapin (Price) has, in the course of his research, come upon a thing--a "tingler"--that, living within each of us, feeds upon our fears. Only our screams keep in in check, it seems. But what if you CANNOT scream? Ah, there's the rub! And once set loose from its host, how do you get rid of the darned thing again? CAN you get rid of it?
