London Children’s Ballet

@LondonChildrensBallet
London Children's Ballet is a performance company made up of talented children aged 9-16, chosen from competitive annual auditions. LCB commissions and stages new ballets and sells out all 8,000 tickets at The Peacock Theatre in London's West End each year. Children performing in the company train with local ballet schools across the south of England and rehearse with LCB on Sunday afternoons. 11% of LCB's young dancers go on to a career in classical ballet and 60% broaden out into the wider performing arts. The purpose of LCB is to inspire children to excellence whatever their chosen path in the future, and to change lives through dance.

LCB gives away 25% of its tickets for just £1 to primary schools in disadvantaged areas and to charities for the elderly. In order to reach those unable to attend the theatre, smaller LCB2 touring companies bring adapted versions of our West End productions into care homes and special needs schools.
