Formosina is an eatery that is located in the heart of the Maida Vale area on Formosa Street. When the popular Avenue Café closed its doors, many Maida Vale residents were left wondering where they would go to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or a delicious meal while in town. Jacqui Brantjes, a Maida Vale resident, decided to move into the old Avenue Café building and open a dining establishment of her own. Soon Jacqui B’s Formosina restaurant was open for business and was able to provide the residents and visitors of the Maida Vale area with something new to experience.

Jacqui B has called Maida Vale her home for over ten years. She is a mom of three wonderful boys who help her out at the restaurant each day. Jacqui B has filled Formosina restaurant with beautiful art and bold furnishings that create a visually intriguing dining experience. As soon as you walk into this little restaurant you will notice the glamorous chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Champagne sits in ice-filled buckets and the black and white tables are decorated with shiny silver placemats. The Formosina menu features a wide assortment of delicious meal items including Cod and Slow-cooked Roast.

Formosina welcomes all types of customers from frazzled moms who need a cup of coffee to business professionals looking for a place to enjoy a quick brunch. Jacqui B’s restaurant has all the elements of a fancy establishment with the relaxed atmosphere of your favorite corner café. Jacqui B’s Formosina restaurant is open from 9 to 6 Monday through Friday and from 9 to 11 on Saturday and Sunday.
