Day 4 of the running experiment — ran a 9:49 mile today, and it felt okay, but my knees and shins were hurting the whole way through. I don't think that pain is actually coming from the shoes though; I think it's more likely tied to some weight gain over the weekend adding extra load on my joints.

Overall, I'm still genuinely impressed with these Temu shoes so far. Even on a day where the body wasn't cooperating, the shoes themselves haven't been the issue — that says a lot about the value they're providing for the price. This experiment keeps surprising me more than I expected going in.

Sometimes discomfort has nothing to do with your gear and everything to do with what's going on with your body that day. Have you ever blamed your equipment before realizing it was something else entirely?
