What does it take for a film to be successful both commercially and critically?

In this three-part pilot episode of our newest series Rolling Stone Philippines Roundtable, we bring together distinct voices in Filipino culture to examine the state of critical industries shaping the nation today.

Joined by actress and director Alessandra De Rossi, Film Academy of the Philippines Director General Paolo Villaluna, producer and IdeaFirst Company president Perci Intalan, and film critic and festival programmer Jason Tan Liwag, Rolling Stone Philippines’ Chief of Editorial Content Jonty Cruz facilitates an in-depth conversation about the state of Philippine independent cinema as well as its challenges, evolution, and future.
