In Jesus’ name is more than a phrase placed at the end of a Christian prayer.

Many sincere people have asked God for healing, restored relationships, financial relief, protection, employment, or freedom from emotional pain. They ended their prayers in the name of Jesus, yet the answer did not arrive in the way they hoped.

That disappointment can create painful questions.

Did God ignore me?

Was my faith too weak?

Did I pray incorrectly?

The answer may begin with understanding what Jesus meant by His name.

In Scripture, a name represented identity, character, authority, and purpose. Praying in the name of Jesus means bringing our requests beneath who He is. It means allowing His love, truth, mercy, wisdom, and will to examine what we are asking for.

The phrase does not force God to follow our instructions.

It does not transform selfishness into faith, resentment into justice, or personal ambition into God’s purpose.

This Christian motivational video offers a clear and practical look at prayer, surrender, unanswered questions, and the difference between asking Jesus to support our plans and allowing Him to lead us.

You are invited to bring God your real needs. Speak honestly about fear, stress, loneliness, grief, health concerns, family conflict, uncertainty, and the future. Jesus does not require polished language.

But He may challenge the reason behind the request.

A prayer for victory may need to become a prayer for healing. A prayer for another person to be exposed may need to become a prayer for truth and mercy. A prayer for an open door may need to include the courage to accept a closed one.

The name of Jesus is not a formula. It is an invitation to trust the Person behind the name.

Watch this message when prayer feels confusing, when God’s answer seems delayed, or when you need the spiritual strength to place an uncertain outcome into His hands.
