Jesus sang before Gethsemane, just hours before His life entered the suffering we remember from the garden and the cross.

There is something deeply human and deeply beautiful about that sequence.

First, Jesus sang.

Then He walked into the night.

Then He told His disciples that His soul was overwhelmed with sorrow.

Then He prayed.

We sometimes imagine strong faith as never feeling frightened, weary, or overwhelmed. Jesus shows us something different. He experienced profound sorrow without abandoning His trust in the Father.

And before the pressure reached its highest point, He worshiped.

That matters for anyone going through a season where the outcome is uncertain.

You may still have questions. You may still wish circumstances were different. You may still be carrying fear about what comes next.

Faith does not require pretending those feelings are gone.

Jesus prayed honestly: He wanted the cup to pass. But He also surrendered Himself to the Father's will.

His song before Gethsemane reminds us that worship can come before clarity.

You do not have to wait until your life feels settled to turn toward God.

You can worship while waiting.

You can worship while hurting.

You can worship before you know how the story ends.

Jesus did.
