Over the Top gets the 5 Minute Drive-In treatment in this fast 5-minute movie edit of the 1987 Sylvester Stallone / Cannon Films arm-wrestling trucker-dad saga.

Edited by me, not AI. Spoiler warning: this is the whole Lincoln Hawk redemption ride compressed into 5 minutes. Mild action/sweat warning: truck drama, father-son tension, arm wrestling, screaming, rich-grandpa villainy, and one backward cap with more emotional power than most screenplays.

Stallone plays Lincoln Hawk, a long-haul trucker trying to reconnect with his son while preparing for the Las Vegas World Armwrestling Championship. Robert Loggia scowls. Bull Hurley sweats through reality. Kenny Loggins provides emotional torque. Cannon Films turns family healing into a forearm tournament.

5 Weird Fun Facts:
1. Stallone signed on years before release.
2. Cannon Films presold the movie overseas.
3. The prize is $100,000 plus a $250,000 truck.
4. “Over the top” was also an arm-wrestling technique tied to a lawsuit.
5. The soundtrack includes Kenny Loggins and Sammy Hagar.

Sorry for the fun facts, but they add context/commentary and help support fair use. Also sorry not everything fits; five minutes cannot contain every truck shot, Loggins feeling, backward-cap moment, and custody-by-arm-wrestling life lesson.
