Many years ago, Seraphina’s father refused to participate in this dragon-hunting conspiracy, so Grant and the others exterminated her entire family. After witnessing her father’s murder, Seraphina awakened her family’s inherited bone-manipulation ability and was then taken away by Grant.
Not long after, Kane Naro betrayed the former king, Valemont, and joined forces with Locke, Anneliese, Grant, and others to launch a dragon-slaying campaign. They brutally killed the only two great dragons left in the world. Outnumbered and unable to defeat them alone, Phelan Drakenhart fled the battlefield with a dragon egg. During the war, Naro seized a newly hatched dragon, gaining the power to change the fate of the kingdom.

Present Storyline:
Captain Black reveals the truth about Reynor Drakenhart’s family. Reynor then follows Captain Black’s plan and travels to the Highwing clan to gain their power and fight against Naro together. However, because of Black’s deception, Reynor is pushed off a cliff by the Highwings, leaving his fate unknown.
The eyes required for the power to see the future demand the eyes of many pure-blooded members of the Highwing family, as well as the eye of a close relative from another race, so... “Wife… and daughter? Daughter… and wife?” Terrifying...
To obtain the power to foresee the future, the Highwing clan plans to have their only son, Ambrose, marry Liana Naro, so they can obtain the final eye from another race.
Beneath the ice wall, Darren witnesses people struggling to survive in the extreme cold while the undead draw closer. Countless people long to climb over the ice wall and return to a normal life, but they fail again and again. Darren decides to tell these survivors the true method for climbing the ice wall.
Just as everyone on the battlefield is preparing to resume fighting, Anneliese brings news that the undead army is approaching and a new disaster is about to arrive. Facing a common threat, the opposing sides are forced to suspend the war. However, with the return of the dragon bloodline, the betrayal of the royal family, and the conspiracies of the Highwings and Black, the entire world is being pushed toward an even greater dark epic war.
