Dr. Chirinjeev Kathuria is an inventor, serial entrepreneur and social innovator. He currently serves as Chairman of New Generation Power, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

As Director of X-Stream Networks, Dr. Kathuria helped pioneer the first free ISP concept – which was sold to LibertySurf and went public on the Paris Stock Exchange. He was the Founding Director of Mircorp, the world’s first commercial enterprise to privately launch and fund manned space programs; Co-founded American Teleradiology NightHawks, Inc., which merged with NightHawk Radiology Holdings, Inc. and the combined company went public on NASDAQ.

Dr. Kathuria has pursued several philanthropic activities throughout his career including Professorship at Stanford University and a donor of Chicago Youth Programs. He recently donated to the University of Virgin Islands to help establish a state-of-the-art LCME accredited medical school.

He holds a B.Sc. and M.D. from Brown University and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University. He’s been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Economist, CNN, BBC and many other reputable media outlets.
