Who Is Jerel Benjamin?
Jerel Benjamin is an entrepreneur who has helped aspiring entrepreneurs and executives achieve their goals and grow their businesses exponentially. While he is most well-known for his Leadership Gold business consulting firm, his journey to success is what most find inspiring and intriguing. The ideals and perspective that Jerel offers to his clients is a product of his past failures and all of the trials he has gone through in his journey into the world of entrepreneurship.
When he started his first company in 1991, Jerel utilized his own skillset and experiences he gained through the remodeling and building industries. However, he soon realized that he wanted to expand outside of simply doing a service and moving on. It became important that the work he did had a long term benefit and helped others in a way aside from just temporary enjoyment. In short, he wanted to use his success to help others become successful as well.
Much of what Jerel Benjamin learned was through trial and error. Many of the resources that he provides companies today were not available to him when he began his entrepreneurship so he was forced to learn the ropes as he went along. Despite the issues he faced and problems he ran into, he continued to persist. This persistence is one of the lessons he looks to instill into the clients he works with and the people who attend his seminars. Success is not earned over night and it typically takes a lot of falling before you’re able to climb the hill. Unlike some other “self-help” experts, Jerel fully acknowledges the fact that success will not be immediate and that you will run into hitches along the way. However, he learned that the key to reaching that success is how you handle the hitches and come out on top. He refused to give in or quit despite resistance and negativity received from his peers.
