Diane Alexander Patterson, MSG, is Founder of Success In Aging TV™, the magazine website devoted to Gerontology (the social study of Aging), and is Editor of the website’s Journal for Success In Aging™. Diane holds a Master’s degree in Gerontology from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University. She was a Board Member of CCGG: the California Council on Gerontology and Geriatrics, and an Advisory Board Member of NAPG: the National Association for Professional Gerontologists. Diane holds California certificates of Gerontology and R.C.F.E. Administrator (Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly), and a Pharmacy Technician certificate with Sav-on Drugs, Inc. She also has over fifteen years of experience as a Legal Assistant in California Probate, Conservatorship and Trust Administration Law.
Diane has served in community volunteer capacities as Presidents of SEDLA: the Southeast District Law Auxiliary (Los Angeles County, CA), John F. Kennedy High School’s Educational Boosters (Orange County, CA), SAGE: Student Association for Gerontology Education at Cal State University, Fullerton, and currently serves on the Board of the Biola University Alumni Association. She is a member of ASA: American Society on Aging, NAPG: National Association for Professional Gerontologists, GSA: Gerontological Society of America, CCGG: the California Council on Gerontology and Geriatrics, SPO: Sigma Phi Omega, National Gerontology Academic Honor and Professional Society, and GAA: Gerontology Alumni Association of California State University, Fullerton.
Diane works with Stewardship Financial Partners, of Irvine, CA, to bring geronotological services and education to California credit unions, insurance companies, and human resource affiliates, with the goal of developing workforce opportunities for professional Gerontologists in the marketplace.
