Until recently, historians had nearly given up hope of finding any visual records from Rockville, Maryland's most notorious family. The prevailing assumption had been that what did exist was destroyed on order of the "authorities". But now, thanks to new technology, and the painstaking efforts of an elite team of forensic pathologists, evidence of the so-called "Dark Period" between 1960 and 1972 is now coming to light.
