45seconds

Two friends, Geoff and Nick were searching for a guitarist to complete a band. After entering the ninth grade they met Deven. Eager to join Nick and Geoff, Deven quickly agreed and in December 2005 they formed 45 Seconds and wrote their first song, "The Gong Song" very quickly. The three instrumentalists had a strong musical connection, but the band was lacking somthing, A Singer. To help them find a singer the trio recorded a cd entitled "It would be better if we had a singer" in September 2006 Although the band made some money and got their name out further, they still did not find a singer. By late November 2006 the band was getting desperate and they found a singer named Jacob. He was a friend of a friend and none of the members had ever met him. They invited him to a practise one day where they rehearsed a few covers and Jacob bonded with the band very quickly. They the preceded on to playing and polishing up their current songs with singing. After about an hour of rehearsing Jacob was officialy in 45 Seconds. After 2 months, on January 27th the band they went in to the studio to record their new cd titled "It's Better Now That We Have A Singer." The new 45 Seconds Sound was revealed and the quality and the musicality was higher than ever. On Febuary 27th the CD was released and for a local, unsigned high school band the cd was succesful, selling over 20 copies the first 2 days. The CD is 4 dollars and is still available for purchase.
