It is not easy to define or describe S M Afzal in a few words, such is his personality. He is the only authentic name therapist in Pakistan, author, spiritual healer/consultant, Islamic scholar just to name a few. He has also been involved with the media, specially the electronic media including TV programs and documentary film. A brief summary of such television programs/film are as follows:

1. Made a documentary film on "Hazrat Sultan Bahu" Darbar Kolachi Shareef;

2. Conducted the program "Naa ki kenday nay" on Apna Channel which was the most hit program for about three years;

3. Conducted on the TV channel R World Network the program "Maen Kon"- a program comprising of 300 episodes on sufiism and names;

4. 200 episodes of the program "Kismet Kompany" on Vibe TV;

5. Conducted 100 episodes of the live program "S M Afzal kay saath gup shup"

6. Conducted 180 episodes of the live program "Morning with S M Afzal" on Haq TV;

7. Conducted 30 interviews with various successful and famous personalities including politicians, businessmen, actors, writers and journalists etc. in the program "Kamiyab Log".

8. Recently has been appearing live on "Subah kay 10" on Health TV.

9. Has appeared live on "Love Indicator" on Vibe TV.

10. Appeared live on the morning show "Salam Sindh" on Sindh TV.

11 Have conducted and anchored hundreds of electronic media and TV programs including the currently twice weekly series "Gup shup with S M Afzal" on Ilm Tv, as mentioned above briefly with videos of such programs available globally online.
