Tom Cruise plans to venture to space.
Tom Cruise doesn't seem to be satisfied with adventures just in the movies.
He recently announced his wish to hop aboard a private spacecraft to venture into space.
Several companies are working to create spaceships that are capable of carrying people and flying to space without completing a full orbit around Earth.
The 50 year old actor states “I'm going to let a couple of other people test it out first but it would be great. I was always hoping when I was a kid that we would be traveling to different planets by now.”
The space tours are reported to last only several minutes, costing each adventurous traveler about $200,000 for a ticket.
Last year, Ashton Kutcher purchased a ticket on a Virgin Galactic flight to space. Richard Branson, the chairman of Virgin Group stated “"He is as thrilled as we are at the prospect of being among the first to cross the final frontier and back with us and to experience the magic of space for himself."
Kutcher was the 500th Virgin Galactic customer to sign on for a future visit to space.
