Russ Carlson & His Orchestra - Banking On The Weather

Although I shared another version of this song before (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xa4uev_ted-black-orchestra-banking-on-the_music?search_algo=2), this one is so totally different I could not resist posting it. Although this issue is credited Russ Carlson, who is the featured pianist, the musical direction of the Crown house bands was is in the hands of Adrian Schubert from 1930 and onwards. Schubert engaged such well known musicians as Mannie Klein, Miff Mole, Tony Partenti and Larry Binyon. The arrangement in this version is brilliant and Elmer Feldkamp is singing another outstanding vocal refrain. The record was cut in 1932.
