At least 14 dead after clashes in Lebanese city

Clashes in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli, between supporters and opponents of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, have left at least 14 dead and dozens more injured.

The two sides reportedly fired machine-guns and rocket-propelled grenades at each other.

Saturday's death toll is the highest in a single day in Tripoli, raising fears that Syria's unrest will spill over the border.
