CGRundertow GUERILLA WAR for Arcade / PS3 Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of the arcade game Guerilla War from SNK. Originally released to arcades in 1987, Guerilla War was ported to many platforms in the late eighties, the NES version perhaps the most notable among them. You can now get this as a PlayStation Mini (PSmini) on the PlayStation Network (PSN), and we highly recommend doing so. Guerilla War is a top-down shoot 'em up, but perhaps more importantly, this is also a top-down foot right up the ass. You play as an unnamed badass on a mission to take down an unnamed dictator. At least, they're unnamed in this American version. In Japan, this game's original title was Guevara, and it was explicitly based on the events of the Cuban Revolution. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of the arcade game Guerilla War for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
