CGRundertow RED FACTION: ARMAGEDDON for PS3 / PlayStation 3 Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Red Faction: Armageddon from Volition and THQ for the PlayStation 3. Red Faction: Armageddon follows up 2009's Guerilla as the fourth game in the Red Faction series. Is it easy? Absurdly so. Is it mindless? Uh, did you think shooting aliens in the face wouldn't be? But we prefer to ask...is it fun? And again, did you think shooting aliens in the face wouldn't be? You play Armageddon as Darius Mason, the grandson of the guy you played as in Guerilla. Long and boring story short, you're shooting monsters on Mars. Armageddon takes you through the interior of the red planet, providing a tour of some seriously cool environments. It's a game packed with eerie settings, places only made creepier by occasionally nifty art and the tactics of your martian enemies...creatures that surround you from the ground, the ceiling and seemingly every shadow that surrounds you. This video review features video gameplay footage of Red Faction: Armageddon for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
