Afghan government fails to help bombed village - 2 Feb 09

In August, US airstrikes in Herat province drew harsh criticism from the Afghan government and the UN.

They said 90 civilians had been killed. The US said 30 civilians died.

President Hamid Karzai visited the area; promising justice and assistance.

Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr returns to the village to find people waiting for the promises to be fulfilled.
