Airstrikes outside Syrian capital kill at least 47 civilians

Russian and Syrian government forces launched a new series of airstrikes on Tuesday, …killing at least 47 civilians in a rebel-held suburb just outside of Damascus.
This comes a day after airstrikes killed another 31 civilians in a nearby area,… and as the UN called for an immediate, month-long cease-fire to allow for aid deliveries.
Tuesday's death toll rose from an initial report of 16 to 47, and the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights warned it could climb further as bodies were still being pulled from the rubble.
It added that many of the 197 wounded were in critical condition.
