Tibetans protest Chinese President

The body of a Tibetan protester who set himself alight returns to the Indian city of Dharamasala.
Jamphel Yeshi died of his burns on Wednesday. He was protesting against Chinese rule of the Himalayan region.
On Friday, Tibetans staged a protest outside the hotel where Chinese President Hu Jintao is staying in India for a summit of emerging market nations.
Opposition leader Yeshwant Sinha condemned the Delhi Police force after some of the protesters were dragged through the street during their arrest.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) FEDERAL LAWMAKER AND SENIOR LEADER OF INDIA'S MAIN OPPOSITION BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY (BJP), YASHWANT SINHA, SAYING:
"I am very sad at what has happened, I am very worried that, you know whoever looked little like a Tibetan was arrested, was beaten up by the Delhi Police. These excesses in the capital of India were eminently avoidable. This BRICS Summit in which Chinese president was supposed to participate was something which was planned for a long time and therefore the police should have acted much more humanely than what we have seen."
Scores of Tibetans have set themselves on fire since 2009, demanding freedom for Tibet. At least 20 have succumbed to their burns.
