Chilean students clashed with police on Wednesday (September 14) in Santiago in ongoing protests to demand unpopular President Sebastian Pinera boost education spending.
The march started peacefully, with police looking on as students marched through the streets of the capital. It has become a familiar scene in Santiago, where student-led protests have been going on for months.

Water trucks dispersed students armed with rocks and Molotov cocktails and police arrested several demonstrators.
