A blast on a bus in northwest Pakistan kills at least ten and wounds more than a dozen people. Investigations are underway.

At least ten people were killed from a blast while traveling on a bus near Pakistan's town of Kohat on Monday. Fifteen others were wounded.

Another bus following the destroyed vehicle was overturned by the impact of the blast, injuring several passengers.

[Ajab Khan, Driver]:
"My vehicle was following this bus when there was a blast in it. I thought the blast had occurred in my bus. My vehicle overturned. When we got out of the bus, I was not injured but others in my bus were injured. When I came onto the road, dead bodies were lying around."

Authorities are investigating if it was a suicide attack or if a bomb had been planted on the bus.

Earlier TV reports say the blast might have been caused by a gas cylinder.

Pakistani Taliban militants have carried out suicide bombings and attacks on soldiers, security forces and police in a bid to destabilize the U.S.-backed government.
