Gunmen opened fire on a teenager's birthday party in Ciudad Juarez Saturday in the city's second shooting at a party this month.

Fifteen people were injured including a nine-year-old boy.

One witness who hid with his daughters during the shooting says he doesn't trust police.

[Unidentified Witness]:
"You can't ask them for anything (authorities) because they don't do anything. This government isn't worth anything. Everyone from the President on down are corrupt. Everything in Mexico is corrupt that's why Mexico is the way it is. I don't have trust in the police. What for? They don't do anything. There is just death and death and they stay in their fancy hotels. So, what for?"

According to a state prosecution spokesman, at least 10 heavily armed men pulled up to the house in two vans and burst into the party.

The local police chief said authorities are conducting a thorough investigation.

[Carlos Manuel Salas, Chichuahua Police Chief]:
"Everything is being investigated. All the information, everyone that participated, anything that came from outside sources, everything is being investigated and the federal and local police are doing what they can."

It is unclear whether the shooting was related to the drug war between rival cartels that has killed around 7,000 people in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico's most violent city, since 2008 alone.
