Raging floodwaters trapped two fishermen near the Devari dam in India’s state of Madhya Pradesh on Monday.

They were caught in the flash floods in Daksan River while fishing, and waited on a rock in the middle of the swollen river for rescue.

District officials organized a cable car to bring them safely to the shore.
