Shen Yun Peforming Arts New York Company has received much praise during their tour in Taiwan. On April 10th, the company presented their first performance in the Kaohsiung County Government Labor Affairs Bureau. Our correspondents file this report.

Shen Yun is touring Kaohsiung County in Taiwan. The Shen Yun performance left one staff member of a local television station with a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.

"It brought for many people who do not understand Chinese culture, an understanding of filial-piety, and what Yi (justice and righteousness) is in our culture. I feel that aside from the beauty expressed here, it also encompasses a lot of spirit of Chinese culture, this is what really
touched me."

Another member of the media industry, Zhong Wuyan, was particularly moved by the dancers’ agility and strength.

"I have long heard the good name of Shen Yun Performing Arts, and after watching it today, I feel it is brilliant... I feel they are not just dancing, it feels as if they have blended into the dance. Sometimes the expressions and their movements, even make me feel the narrative of the story through emotions... So I feel touched from the dance, it was not only a matter of watching the dance, but a kind of presentation, a performance that could really touch my heart."
