EastEnders - Janine and Pat argue before Janine's arrest

Janine runs through the square and Martin and Sonia tell her that they're getting married. Janine begs Pat to listen to her. Pat insists she will not tell the police anything - and her being locked up for this will square things - she stood there scoffing - proud of what she had done to Barry. Janine offers Pat the house. She rants on about her poor childhood and Frank leaving them, and how upset she was - Pat was an adult but she was only a kid, and she tells a story about how she used to sit on the wall outside hoping that her father would come home - once she sat there for hours and scratched her name on the wall with her fingernails until her hands were bleeding. Pat listens and claps sarcastically saying that was Oscar-winning. Janine tries to say that Pat is good and won't be able to stand up in court and lie.
