Elliott Everett Orchestra - Linger Longer
  • 15 years ago
Elliott Everett was a pseudonym for several orchestras, but in this case we are hearing a band led by Graham Prince(1904-81), who was a trumpeter-arranger who started out in the 20s with Whitey Kaufman's band. He is credited with quite a few publishers' arrangements and some co-credits on songs. He performed at the Palais d'Or in New York City for a year's run. His usual vocalist was Walter Darrach, heard here on this delightful 1933 recording.
