Velo de Ville wants to stand out in the sea of today's e-bikes. To achieve this, the German brand focuses on customizability and personalization. This way, riders can not only find the right e-bike platform for their wishes and needs, but also tune their bikes exactly the way they want. In total, Velo de Ville has four new e-bike models to choose from.

For starters, the Velo de Ville AEB stands as the brand's urban commuter and all-round all-rounder. It comes in a variety of frame configurations, including open, semi-open, and step-through. Various wheel options are also available, including a 26-inch wheelset for the open-frame version. When it comes to performance, AEB relies on a variety of motors, all from none other than Bosch. For the AEB 290, it has a 40 Nm (29.6 pound-feet) Active Line engine, while the AEB 490 has the more powerful Active Line Plus with 50 Nm (37 pound-feet) of torque. The two most premium versions, AEB 890 and 990, get Performance Line and Performance Line CX engines respectively.

The Velo de Ville SEB is then marketed as the brand's SUV e-bike, thanks to its more rugged design and improved off-road capability. Complete with a suspension fork and Schwalbe Johnny Watts tires, the SEB can be a city commuter and weekend tourer while carrying your daily essentials on the rear-mounted luggage rack. Like the AEB, it is offered in multiple versions with engines spanning Bosch's extensive catalogue.

With the more “performance” focused models aside, let's take a look at the more usability-focused models in Velo de Ville's lineup. With the letter "C" standing for comfort, the CEB is designed for urban driving with its comfortable, upright seating position. It utilizes the lightweight yet responsive Bosch Performance Line SX engine. The Bosch SX engine, which is mostly found in light electric mountain bikes and gravel bikes, promises natural pedal feeling thanks to its integrated torque sensor. For a comfortable ride, the CEB features a suspension fork, suspension seatpost and full-coverage front and rear fenders.

The last model in Velo de Ville's 2024 catalog is the KEB, where "K" stands for "compact" or compact in English. As its name suggests, it's the smallest of the bunch, rolling on 20-inch wheels and featuring a compact frame design. Like its siblings, it's focused on urban practicality thanks to its comfortable seating position, snap-on frame and built-in luggage rack. In terms of performance, it delivers a strong performance thanks to the same Bosch Performance Line SX engine.

As previously mentioned, the 2024 Velo de Ville lineup focuses on customizability, and the German company delivers on that promise by offering a wide range of upgrades and accessories. Moreover, the bikes are offered with customizable paint options ranging from glossy, matte and satin finishes, and extra fees are charged for special paints.
