The 2024 Opel Corsa Electric was shown to the world for the first time at the Munich Motor Show, and while it's not the most compelling new EV to debut this year, there's still a lot to admire.
Opel designers have updated the Corsa not only in electric appearance, but throughout for the 2024 model year. All new models, for example, feature a striking, glossy black faux grille that can be complemented by more advanced Intelli-Lux LED headlights using matrix technology. This new dashboard gives the Corsa more attitude without being overbearing and being too aggressive like some other newly released hatchbacks.
In terms of power, the Opel Corsa Electric is powered by a 50 kWh or 54 kWh battery pack that can be connected to one of the two available powertrains. The entry-level version features a single 134 hp electric motor and the smaller of the two battery packs, providing a WLTP range of 222 miles (357 km). Those who want a little more range and power can opt for the 54 kWh version with a 154 hp electric motor and a range of 252 miles (406 km).

Other powertrains are also offered, though the Corsa Electric is unveiled in Munich. For example, the Corsa is also sold with an entry-level petrol engine, available in 74 hp and 99 hp power options. In addition, Opel sells the vehicle with a 1.2-liter mild-hybrid engine with 99 hp and 134 hp options.
Pricing details of the new 2024 Corsa are currently only available for the UK. The Design pack will start at £19,625 ($24,649), the mid-range GS will start at £22,005 ($27,638) and the Ultimate will be available at £25,605 ($32,160). As for the electrified versions, the 134 hp offer starts at £32,445 ($40,751), while the 154 hp model starts at £38,585 ($48,463).
